The gorgeous vocals and melodic pop tunes of the Carpenters are brought to life by Meera Belle in this retrospective salute to one of the world’s best loved vocalists, Karen Carpenter.

“Close To You”, “Top Of The World”, “We’ve Only Just Begun” are just some of the hits from this beloved duo who lit up the world with their beautifully crafted songs and still earn the respect of professional musicians to this very day.

Karen’s pristine and legendary vocals were the inspiration for notable singers such as K D Lang and Annie Lennox, and her drumming skills widely noted as well.

This show covers 20 of the greatest Carpenters hits from the beginning to the end of their decade-long dominance of the world charts. Meera Belle has been described as “elegant”, with “astonishing vocals”, “a warm and inviting artist” and the show itself as “a triumph from start to finish”.

The show is a semi-music theatrical style tribute of 2 x 45/50 min sets, charted for 6-piece live band plus 2x backing vocalists.
