Nicole Parker-Brown & The Jazz Kings are an outstanding ensemble renowned for their captivating blend of jazz, blues and Latin music. Biography
Since forming in 2017, The Jazz Kings have established themselves as one of the Gold Coast's premier jazz ensembles, earning a reputation as one of the region's most sought-after live bands. Their outstanding musicianship and engaging performances have made them favourites at jazz clubs, festivals, theatres and corporate events throughout Australia.
In December 2020, the band released their debut album, Out of Nowhere, which received airplay on local, interstate and international radio stations. Their second album, Blue Jazz, followed in April 2024 and quickly attracted widespread interest from radio broadcasters across Australia and overseas. Featuring a distinctive fusion of jazz and blues, the album combines timeless standards with exceptional original compositions. Complimentary CDs are available upon request.
Collectively, the members of The Jazz Kings bring decades of professional experience spanning live performance, recording, television, radio, musical theatre, education and backing some of Australia's leading entertainers. Their versatility and professionalism make them equally at home performing in intimate jazz venues or on major festival stages.
The band has appeared at numerous festivals and prestigious venues including Jumpers and Jazz in Warwick, the Tedder Avenue Flower Festival, Brisbane Jazz Club, Twin Towns, and jazz clubs throughout Queensland. They have also entertained audiences at corporate events for The Marriott, The Sheraton and Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast.
Recent performances include appearances at Brisbane Jazz Club, Gold Coast City Jazz Club, Tweed Heads Sports Club, and the Bravo Performing Arts Cruise ex Sydney. They are currently featured in a successful residency at The Jazz Room on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast with the Frank and Louis Shows and a Journey to the Heart of New Orleans.

Nicole Parker-Brown joined The Jazz Kings in 2018. Surrounded by music from an early age, she has devoted much of her life to performing jazz and blues, bringing warmth, passion and authenticity to every performance.
Together, these highly accomplished musicians combine their diverse talents, creativity and experience to produce performances that are both polished and spontaneous. Their shared passion for music and masterful improvisation create an unforgettable live experience that continues to captivate audiences across Australia.
