About

Karen Hickmott of Wedded to the Harp is a classically trained harpist and singer. She is an experienced performer and has played in many orchestras, hotels, private functions, weddings, corporate events, parties and funerals over the last thirty years. She has a vast repertoire encompassing Classical, Jazz, Contemporary, Celtic and music from the Stage and Screen.

Karen particularly enjoys working with her clients to provide the perfect musical accompaniment to their special event whether it be as background music for an intimate cocktail party or dinner, ceremony music or a feature performance.

Karen frequently collaborates with other musicians and is happy to curate an ensemble of your choosing.

Minimum booking is for 1 hour and includes liaison in relation to repertoire.

Each additional hour is $200 extra. There is a weighting on the first hour to cover all the travel, tuning and setup time.
